Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Make a Reservation?

Due to our small sized restaurant and limited amount of staff we have chosen to not take reservations at Pastificio. This ultimately allows for us to have an easier time running dinner service and in the end lets more people have an opportunity to dine with us as walk-ins nightly inside the restaurant. That being said, it’s very rare that guests are turned away due to a lack of available seating because we share seating with the cocktail bar next to us, The Garrison.

Are You Wheel Chair accessible?

We have double swing doors making it very easy for wheelchairs of all sizes to enter our restaurant space. That being said we are a very small restaurant, but so far we haven’t had issues making space! If you experience sound or light sensitivity please tell us so we can make your experience more comfortable!

Note: our bathroom is a single, standard size door, but with ample room inside of it.

How about kids?

We don’t want any parent to ever feel like they cannot bring a little one in our space! We want kids to try pasta and enjoy family time. We have a high-chair for little ones and a Barbie doll if you need a distraction. Our pastas aren’t very complex and we have seen a lot of kids love our food!

How Much Seating Do You Have?

Inside the restaurant we have about 20 seats that can accommodate groups of two to four people. Sometimes we are able to host groups of six- eight. We also share a covered, outdoor patio with the sweet bar next door to us, The Garrison and this patio has standing heaters and a fir pit. Our dinner guests are also welcome to sit in this cocktail bar whilst easting at Pastificio. This shared space allows for ample seating of smaller or larger groups. We personally run the food over so you do not have to worry about waiting for anything! we share a liquor license so alcohol can move between our two spaces.

Can I Order Food To-go?

We offer our full menu as a to-go option nightly. Take-out can only be purchased in person inside Pastificio. We do not have a phone number to call and place orders nor do we do offer any sort of online ordering system. This also means we do not partner with any third-party food delivery companies such as Grub-hub, Uber Eats, Door-Dash, etc. When ordering to-go food from us, please allow at least 20 minutes for your order to be finished. If you come right at 5 orders go faster.

Do You Offer Gluten-free and/or Vegan Options?

None of our pasta options are ever available made gluten-free and/or vegan. This is purely the nature of the style of pasta we make (egg based pasta) and of the cuisine of Northern Italy that our restaurant chooses to showcase. Those with mild gluten sensitivity often report feeling fine after eating our pasta because of high quality of our flour we import from Italy. (FAQ below discussing food quality and sustainability.)

Do You Have Alcohol/a Wine List?

Maggie curates a small, thoughtful selection of wines that we offer at Pastificio. Our wine options are old world with a focus on Italian and French wine. glass pours are $12 across the board, and bottles almost always $35. Because our wine options are constantly changing, we do not offer a written wine list on our website.

Ten dollar charge for personal wine corkage.

Please note that we also share our liquor license with the cocktail bar The Garrison directly next door. There you will find three very sweet and kind bartenders who offer amazing craft made cocktails, beer, cider, and additional wine options. Because we share the liquor license, our guests are welcome to order drinks from The Garrison and drink them inside Pastificio, or bring their wine bought from us inside their bar.

Are Your Ingredients Local/Organic/Sustainable?

All of the ingredients used at Pastificio are the absolute best we can find. We’re very proud to say we’ve consciously taken the time and effort to source from as many local, organic, sustainable, and artisanal producers as we possibly can. All of our fresh meat comes from Revel Meat Co. Our produce is purchased from surrounding local farms. Cheeses, dairy and cured meats are from Cowbell, which directly imports these products from the best producers in Italy. As well, our flour used for our pasta comes from biodynamic farms and mills in the commune of Mantua in Northern Italy, and because of this people with mild gluten sensitivities often tell us they feel fine after eating the pasta we make.

I Heard You Sell Out of Pasta Early? Is That True?

Because of the labor intensive process of rolling our pasta out entirely by hand, we are only able to produce a small size of pasta for each night (about 60-65 portions). This means that we very often (but not all the time) sell out before closing at 9pm. We highly suggest that larger groups and/or weekend diners arrive at the restaurant before 7:00pm to ensure they’re able to order what they want.

Can I Buy a Gift Card to Your Restaurant?

Yes. We offer gift certificate purchases for any amount of your choosing. These may be purchased in person at the restaurant between the hours of 12pm-9pm every Thursday-Sunday.
